What is Messy Church?
Messy Church is a fresh approach to church for children and adults of all ages. With fun, food and friendship its an informal way of enjoying family time. Its about coming together, making things together, eating together and celebrating God together. Messy Church is colourful, creative, noisy, funny, yummy and probably sticky!
Who is it for?
Messy Church is for everyone, young and old alike, adults, children, teenagers, carers and grandparents. Come with friends, families or partners, or come on your own. All-comers are welcome and will find something for them.
What do we do?
Anything and everything! We have a whole range of activities including:
- Model Making
- Painting
- Edible art
- Sticking and collages
- Dancing and singing
- Playing games
- Story time
- Quiet corner
- Getting messy!
Following an hour of crafts and other activities there a short time of celebration. Then there is food!
How much does it cost?
Nothing. If you can afford to make a small donation, that’s great.
When is it?
It takes place at Staple Village Hall, 3pm-5pm every 3rd Sunday
