Welcome to the website for St Mary the Blessed Virgin, Woodnesborough, Kent

As a Church, we are set in the beautiful Kent countryside, but we are no ordinary country church. As you will see, there are many things going on here in a lively and growing Church. We take care to try to offer something for everybody, so we have a range of events from the obviously religious to what seems to be more secular times of people just getting together.

So we take seriously studying the Bible and preaching from it, our life of prayer and fellowship and also being Church in social situations of all sorts. We are particularly focussed on our work with children. We have introduces Messy Church and have a thriving Travellers group which is for Secondary ge  Youth. All of these things, though, are expressions of our belief that God is for everyone, and in ways which are most comfortable and beneficial to them. Our overall aim is to present God within our community.
