Welcome to St. Mary's Woodnesborough. The church is situated in the centre of the Village which is in South East Kent, 2 miles west of the historic town of Sandwich and 12 miles from Dover.

The Parish comes under the Diocese of Canterbury and is in Deanery of Sandwich along with the Cluster of Sandwich, Sandwich Carpenter's Arms and Worth, and the Benefice of Eastry, Tilmanstone and Northbourne.

St. Mary's is in a Benefice with St James the Great at Staple. Although Woodnesborough is a relatively small village with a population of about 800, St Mary's is an active and vibrant church. We have services every Sunday at 10.30am. The services are varied from the traditional to the more informal and on the third Sunday each month Holy Communion is celebrated at 8am. Prayer Ministry is available on the second and fourth Sunday in Woodnesborough.
