Open Gardens
On a day of near unbroken sunshine, eight gardens were opened to public gaze and the churchyard provided tea/coffee and cakes.
It was altogether a memorable day, and we are most grateful to those who were gracious enough to allow the public to join the trail from the church and visit, on foot, all eight gardens. Everyone enjoyed the experience and there were many appreciative comments. Plants, paintings and cards were also on sale.
The day raised the excellent sum of just over £2000 in less than three and a half hours. Well done and thank you to all who took part - especially providing essential refreshments on a hot day!
